Description
A contemporary landscape of Lake Windermere in the Lake District, by artist Jacky Al-Samarraie. Presented with a window mount and in a black box frame, ready to hang on your wall. Jacky Al-Samarraie uses uncomplicated images, sourced from the British countryside, and adds graphic bright blocks of colour to create an eye-catching design. She developed this style during her degree and created The Art Room company in 2007. Her bold landscape images can now be seen on cards, mugs and prints. Al-Samarraie didn't start life as an artist, she originally pursued a career in Social Services. It wasn't until her children grew up that she went back to develop her creative skills; receiving a first honours degree in Graphic Media Communication from Bradford College of Art Design & Textiles. John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
