I’m a fan of this white pine bed for its clean lines and sturdy feel - its slatted head- and footboard bring just enough detail without looking fussy. It sits happily in Scandi, coastal or modern-farmhouse schemes, and the neutral finish means you can dial up colour elsewhere or keep things pared-back. For styling, layer natural-fibre bedding in creams or soft greys, add a chunky knit throw at the foot and mix in a couple of textured cushions. Pair with light-wood or rattan side tables, brass bedside lamps and a low-pile rug to tie the look together.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores".
