Her preferred mediums are acrylic and watercolour, and over the years she has developed a unique skillset and style. Ira’s art is marked by her love for nature and the intensity of city life. She uses contrast and bright colours to give strength to her favourite subject: women and their beauty. Her paintings reflect a great joy of life. Ira says of her art: "My art is defined as a mix between abstract-realism, surrealism and pop art. I like to play with colours, human figures, abstract shapes and spots. I work periodically in various techniques and like to experiment with different materials and techniques. My goal is to create personal artwork that consists of endless variations. Many of my paintings have layers of texture while some are painted with more transparent colours, with lots of water and spontaneous brush movements. My inspiration comes from all of the beauty around me. I strongly believe that we live in a wonderful world full of joy and positivity. I love the process of painting. It's fun and it brings joy to my life. Through the process of creating, I hope to share the positive energy and joy of life with others."
