Description

Bring an urban chic to your interior arrangements with our Industrial Style Cable Ceiling Pendant. Finished in satin nickel, this stylish ceiling light features a gorgeous, vintage style able to create a retro statement in any space, especially your kitchen area where this feature would look beautiful styled above any kitchen island or breakfast bar. With a grey, braided cable design, this fitting has a relaxed, casual aesthetic and provides a much softer atmosphere. Pair these ceiling pendants with any of our.

Our Stylist Says

This industrial-style grey cable ceiling pendant has a sleek, minimalist look that works beautifully in modern and urban interiors, particularly those with a pared-back or loft-inspired aesthetic. I love how the satin nickel finish adds a touch of sophistication while keeping the overall look utilitarian. It’s great for creating interesting focal points over dining tables, kitchen islands, or even in a casual lounge setting. For styling tips, consider pairing it with exposed brick walls, concrete surfaces, or vintage-inspired filament bulbs for a cohesive industrial vibe. Practical and versatile, it’s an easy way to add character and lighting functionality without overwhelming the space.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
