I’m a big fan of this black industrial desk because its clean lines and built-in shelving make it both practical and low-fuss. The matte metal frame and rustic wood-effect surfaces slot straight into loft-style or Scandi-industrial schemes, but it also works well against a pale wall for a simple home-office look. To style, keep the desktop clear with just a slim desk lamp and a couple of tech essentials (think wireless charger, neat cable tray underneath). Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
