Our Stylist Says

I love this industrial pipe clothes rack for its versatile and robust aesthetic, making it a great focal point in both modern and rustic interiors. It works particularly well in open plan living spaces or walk-in wardrobes, adding an edgy, utilitarian charm. Practical styling tips include pairing it with a mix of colourful or patterned garments for contrast, or keeping it minimalist with neutral tones for a sleek look. You can also use it as a feature display or even add baskets or hooks to increase storage options. Its straightforward design makes it both functional and stylish, perfect for anyone wanting to mix practicality with an industrial vibe.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
