Description

This industrial-style kitchen island combines functionality with a stylish design, providing extra workspace and storage for your kitchen. The sturdy metal frame paired with a vintage wood-effect surface ensures durability while adding a modern touch. It features two open shelves for storing cookware, tableware, or spices, while the top rail with hooks offers convenient hanging space for utensils or towels, making the most of vertical storage. Its sleek and practical design suits various kitchen styles, whether used as a food prep area, coffee station, or versatile storage unit.

Our Stylist Says

I love this industrial kitchen island for its functional yet stylish vibe, making it a versatile piece for various interiors. It works particularly well in loft-style and modern rustic kitchens, bringing an understated industrial edge while offering practical storage. Styling tips include using the open shelves for accessible everyday essentials like bowls, jars, or cookbooks, while hanging rails are perfect for utensils or even hanging plants for a touch of greenery. Its brown tones and metal frame make it easy to pair with both light and dark cabinetry, and it can also be used as a mobile prep station or extra serving space during gatherings. Keep it streamlined for a contemporary look or style with vintage accessories for a more eclectic feel.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
