Description

Our Stylist Says
I’m a fan of this industrial-style console because its mix of black metal framing and warm, reclaimed-look shelves brings a usable, lived-in feel without looking cluttered. It works particularly well in urban lofts, modern farmhouse living rooms or any space that benefits from a touch of raw, pared-back texture. For styling, balance decorative items with practical storage: use one shelf for a couple of neatly stacked books and a small planter, another for a woven basket to hide remotes or cables, and leave one section more open to avoid a crowded look. A slim-line TV on top, paired with a statement print or mirror mounted above, completes the arrangement without overwhelming the room.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
