I’m a fan of this 220 cm bench for its clean lines and warm wood tone - it instantly adds a grounded, slightly industrial feel. It works equally well in a modern farmhouse kitchen or under a large hallway mirror as informal seating. To style it, drape a couple of slim, neutral-coloured cushions or a folded woollen throw at one end, and balance the look with a simple vase of greenery or a row of low-profile tealight holders along the centre. Pair with mixed-metal pendant lighting or a pared-back dining table for a cohesive scheme.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
