Sumptuous in design and colour the Indian wallpaper is a faithful reproduction of an early paper from 1868-70 thought to have been designed by George Gilbery Scott. The log books reveals it is the most recoloured design over the decades. Similar in appearance to the block printed original this surflex printed version comes in two colours to match the fabric from the Morris V Collection. Shown here in a charcoal grey and nickel yellow colourway. This design is a beautiful choice for a feature wall in a living room and office space or perhaps used to paper an entire bedroom or hallway. Application Method: paste the wall and then apply. Pattern match:Straight match. Vertical Pattern Repeat: 64cm. This wallpaper is part of the Archive IV The Collectors Wallpapers collection. Also available in a beaded version.
I love how the Indian Wallpaper roll in Grey Pewter adds a classic yet contemporary touch to any space. Its subtle tones make it versatile, working well in both traditional and modern interiors, especially when paired with neutral colour schemes or softer furnishings. This piece is particularly effective in living rooms or bedrooms where a calm, sophisticated backdrop is desired. For styling tips, consider keeping accessories and furniture in matching grey tones or natural woods to enhance the understated elegance. It also works beautifully as a statement behind a bed or sofa, bringing in pattern without overwhelming the space. Overall, it’s a practical choice for those wanting to introduce a refined pattern that effortlessly complements a range of aesthetics.
