Designed by Issey Miyake, this collection uses material that comes from the regeneration of the fiber of PET (polyethylene terephthalate) bottles - an innovative project based on a mathematical program and the wise use of the latest generation sources to create a unique relationship between light and shadow. This technology consumes a third less energy than the production of a material derived from petroleum.
I love the Tatsuno-Otoshigo LED pendant for its modern sculptural quality, making it a striking focal point in contemporary interiors. Its elegant, twisting form works exceptionally well in minimalist or industrial spaces where it can add a touch of organic movement without competing with other design elements. Practical styling tips include positioning it above dining tables or in voids where it can showcase its shape against a neutral background. Its subtle, diffused lighting makes it versatile for creating cosy or functional environments, and it pairs beautifully with neutral tones or crisp monochrome palettes, adding sophistication and a sculptural intrigue to the space.
