Description
To create his "In Between" collection, the Finish designer, Sami Kallio, took inspiration from wooden furniture designed in the 50s by Hans J. Wegner, one of the founding fathers of Scandinavian design. The In Between armchair is therefore a respectful nod to the past, despite its resolutely forward-thinking design. Its sculptural backrest and armrests offer a real support to anyone who sits in it, while playing on alternating empty spaces and solid shapes. Hand-crafted in Denmark, the In Between armchair is the result of remarkable cabinet-making work, rooted in the Scandinavian tradition. Walnut is a tactile, warm material. On this model, the comfortable seat is padded with foam and upholstered in black leather.
