Our Stylist Says
I really like this impact furniture section because it combines sleek contemporary style with practical usability. The Light Dove Grey high gloss finish adds a fresh, modern look that works particularly well in minimalist or Scandinavian-inspired interiors, but it can also provide a stylish contrast in more traditional schemes when paired with warm wood accents. Its subdued colour and glossy surface help reflect light, creating a sense of openness in smaller kitchens. Stylistically, it’s versatile enough to sit alongside metallic accents or soft pastel shades. For a cohesive look, consider pairing it with matte or wood-effect worktops and keep accessories minimal to let the cabinetry be the star. Practical tips include working with soft, neutral tones for wall paint and using open shelving or glass-fronted cabinets nearby to balance the high shine with some visual texture.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
