Description
The shape of this Vase is reminiscent of African gourds or vessels made from calabashes. Its bleached, textured, patina-like appearance is achieved using the whitewash technique. A coat of white paint diluted with water is applied to the surface and then wiped off to reveal the natural irregularities of the terracotta.
