Truly gravity-defying in appearance, the black Illusion Suspended Light offers the best functional elements of both a pendant light and a side table, designed in 2012 by Hareide Design and produced to exacting standards by Northern Lighting. Hovering above the ground, the Illusion Suspended Light challenges our perceptions of gravity, while uniting two beautifully functional objects. Finished in a matte black, the aluminium shade casts light directly for a bright emanation, while presenting a hovering steel table below, suspended on black silk-finish wire. Inspired by the wonders of the natural Scandinavian landscape, the Illusion Suspended Light is a reaction to Kjæragbolten, a large rock that hovers in the crevice of a mountain above Lysefjorden in Norway. Award-winning studio Hareide Design was founded by Einar Hareide in 2000 consists of a team of hand-picked cross-category designers. Requires 4 X GU10 Max 50W bulb (not included)
