Description
Much thinner than a traditional applique, Illusion is an LED lamp for indoor use. The illusion is a sphere captured inside a square, generated by the optical effect of the Fresnel lens and white layer. The wall lamp created by Francisco Gomez Paz is the result of a major, complex innovation: injection moulding technology applied to a Fresnel lens. The company asked the designer to make an LED wall lamp for major energy savings: to obtain the same quantity of light with 17 watts of power that would normally be obtained with 150. Much slimmer than a traditional applique, Illusion consumes less. The image of a sphere captured in a square is generated by the optical effect of the Fresnel lens, since the body of the lamp is flat, with a thickness of just 4 centimeters. Illusion marks another important step forward for Luceplan in the area of technological and formal innovation for lighting fixtures.
