As its name suggests, Illmare has been inspired by the seaside. Hand-woven in wool, its soft surface is adorned with textured patterns reminiscent of waves.. Irregular wool strands give this rug a rippling feel. Aesthetic and original. Product Details • 95% wool, 5% polyester • Weight: 2500g/m² • Pile height 0.5 - 1cm • Handwoven in IndiaQuality Wool is a warm and comfortable fibre. A wool rug is also an excellent thermal and sound insulator. Care instructions • Some materials such as wool are very fibrous and you can actually observe a piling during the first weeks of use: this is a normal for this type of product and is not a defect. Remove the excess fibres by hand where possible, do not use a vacuum cleaner with a rotating brush as this can pull and tear the fibres. The pilling will improve over time. • We advise you to vacuum it very little the first month and then to vacuum it without rubbing too much always without using the brush. • Remove stains immediately with a clean, damp cloth. • Dry clean recommended. Dimensions • Width 120 x Length 180cm • Width 160 x Length 230cm • Width 200 x Length 290cm. Home Delivery. Available for home delivery.
I love this hand-woven wool rug for its understated texture and neutral tone, making it highly versatile across many styles of interiors. It's especially well-suited to modern, Scandinavian, or minimalist settings, where its simplicity can truly shine, but it also works beautifully in cosy, traditional spaces. Practical styling tips include layering it with other textiles like throws or cushions for added warmth and tactile interest, or pairing it with light wooden furniture to enhance its natural appeal. Since it's a wool piece, it’s durable and warm underfoot-perfect for defining seating areas or creating a soft, inviting backdrop in living rooms or bedrooms.
