The Ikat Madras cushion cover 50x50 cm from Chhatwal & Jonsson has been elegantly hand-woven from dual-layer linen and adorned with a gorgeous, tri-coloured pattern on the front. The meticulous and personalized craftsmanship in each piece renders every cushion cover entirely unique. The beautiful pattern was cast with a technique known as screen printing, a method based on traditional Indian craft methods that require the minimal use of water. The colours are rendered using a stencil and then the linen fabric is allowed to dry naturally in the sun.
