Description

Sustainability meets storage with the i. Design recycled plastic and wood storage box. This eco-friendly bin provides storage in the bathroom for items such as makeup, skincare, soaps, lotions, hair and body care products, hair styling tools, extra toiletries, and more. It's also great for use in the bedroom, closet, kitchen, pantry, office, craft room, nursery, and more. It can also be stacked with additional organizers in the Eco Collection (sold separately) for modular and customized storage in cabinets, under the sink, and on shelves. The coordinating lid with raised edges keeps items in place and provides additional catch-all storage on top of the bin, and the integrated handles make carrying and reorganization easy. The durable BPA-free recycled polypropylene (RPP) bin and sustainable paulownia wood lid stand up to everyday use, while the modern coconut white and natural wood finish match a variety of decor styles. At i. Design, we're committed to protecting the future of our planet. We know even the smallest choices can lead to big changes, and we're committed to making the right choices every day like using recycled materials to create exciting new product lines. Good for you and good for the planet.

Our Stylist Says

I really like this square box from the iDesign Eco collection-it’s a versatile piece that adds a sustainable touch to any interior. Its clean lines and natural wood lid make it suitable for minimalist, Scandi, or contemporary styles, while the recycled plastic base offers durability and a subtle eco-cred. Practical styling tips include using it as a handy organiser on kitchen counters, bathroom shelves, or in a home office. It works well as a discreet storage solution for small items like stationery, toiletries, or snacks, and layering a few similar pieces can help create a streamlined look. Its neutral palette makes it easy to incorporate into various colour schemes, offering both form and function without compromising on style.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
