Our Stylist Says
I really like the sleek, modern appeal of the Bloom ceiling light in black - it’s a versatile piece that can elevate a variety of interior styles. Its bold, contemporary look makes it ideal for minimalist or industrial spaces, while the monochrome palette allows it to blend seamlessly with both neutral and darker colour schemes. I’d suggest pairing it with concrete or wooden accents for an urban feel, or use it in a bedroom or living area where functional lighting is key, ensuring the design remains a subtle statement. Practical styling tips include hanging it centrally to maximise light distribution or layering with softer lamps for ambiance. Its clean lines and understated colour mean it’s easy to incorporate, making it a smart choice for those seeking a modern yet practical lighting solution.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
