Our Stylist Says
I love the icon kids high back and footstool because of its versatile Jumbo Cord texture and light grey tone, which makes it easy to incorporate into a variety of interiors. It works especially well in contemporary, scandi, or cosy family spaces, offering both comfort and style. As a stylist, I’d suggest pairing it with simple, neutral furnishings for a modern look, or adding colourful cushions for a playful touch. Practical styling tips include placing it near a reading nook or play area to maximise its function, and layering other textures like knit throws or patterned rugs to create an inviting, child-friendly environment. Its size and shape also make it versatile for both sitting and lounging, perfect as a practical yet stylish addition for a family room or play space.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
