Our Stylist Says
I love this kids' footstool and high back - it’s a playful yet practical piece that adds instant character to a child's room or a cosy corner. The jumbo cord fabric in green is not only tactile and durable but also easy to incorporate into both modern and traditional interiors. It works particularly well in playful, relaxed spaces like nurseries or family rooms, but can also add a touch of fun to more sophisticated schemes when styled thoughtfully. For styling tips, try pairing it with layered textiles, soft lighting, and colourful accessories to make the space inviting and comfortable. Its chunky, textured fabric acts as a visual anchor, making it a practical yet stylish choice for both kids and parents alike.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
