I’m a fan of this simple oak slatted bench (we just call it the Row bench) because its clean lines and light tone slot seamlessly into Scandi, Japandi or contemporary schemes. Its compact size makes it ideal for hallways, at the foot of a bed or even as extra seating in a snug living area.
Styling-wise, pair it with a textured cushion or folded woollen throw for comfort, and tuck a woven basket or ceramic planter underneath to keep clutter in check. On top you could add a neat stack of design books or a slim tray for keys and small vases - it’s versatile enough to work as both seat and surface.
