Description
With its light, edgy-shaped back, the HÅG Capisco Puls 8010 provides you with all the benefits of the original Capisco model, but it’s more lightweight and easy to clean. With a plastic shell and additional fabric seat pad for comfort, it’s part of the HÅG Capisco concept and celebrates innovative, unconventional design. Renowned Norwegian designer Peter Opsvik originally created the chair in 1984 in an attempt to overcome stereotypical sitting habits. The result is this distinctive saddle seat, inspired by a horseback rider’s dynamic posture. It offers endless ways to sit or half-stand, and encourages you to vary your position throughout the working day for increased energy, creativity and a healthier posture. Plus, it’s one of the most responsibly manufactured office chairs. 95% of the polypropylene plastic used is recycled, mainly from post-consumer waste plastic and it’s not made with glue or any other harmful substances. Customisable adjustments for an active sitting experience With a flexible sit-stand seat and height range, it’s easy to switch between sitting, standing and perching Varying your position during the working day will help you to feel more energised and focused on your work. It also helps to reduce fatigue that is often associated with standing desks Adjust the seat depth forwards and backwards to get backrest support for a resting position Adjust the backrest height for optimal comfort and elbow support The backrest tilts and can be locked into a position. Lock it in a neutral position when you sit the other way around and unlock it for a natural rocking motion when sitting normally It’s made with a ridged foot support that provides grip and helps you to vary the position of your feet Unique saddle seat The saddle seat enables a balanced posture and greater freedom of movement when sitting down to work With this posture, the lumbar curve is preserved, the hip joint angles are open and muscles are well-balanced and relaxed. This helps to eliminate the strain on your body which is often associated with conventional sitting positions The seat offers the ability to move without needing to leave your work station, making sitting active and adding energy and flow to your day Minimalist design with the environment in mind The number of components and types of materials used to create this chair has been reduced to a minimum, making it a front-runner in eco-design The chair can be dis-assembled so that the various materials can be separated from each other to facilitate recycling This office chair was the first in the world to be certified with the Nordic Swan Ecolabel in 2010. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
