Renowned Norwegian designer Peter Opsvik originally created the chair in 1984 in an attempt to overcome stereotypical sitting habits. The result is this distinctive saddle seat, inspired by a horseback rider's dynamic posture. Plus, it's one of the most responsibly manufactured office chairs. 95% of the polypropylene plastic used is recycled, mainly from post-consumer waste plastic and it's not made with glue or any other harmful substances.
