I’m a fan of the Hoxton desk in oak because its slim, industrial frame slots neatly into pretty much any scheme - from pared-back Scandi to urban loft. The warm oak top adds a bit of texture without feeling heavy, while the black metal legs keep things light and functional.
To style it, keep your desktop simple: a slim desk lamp, a neat pen pot and maybe a small plant to soften the lines. Tuck a low storage box or basket underneath for papers and chargers, and lean a bold print or pinboard against the wall behind it to give it a bit of personality.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
