Description

**In collaboration with the Natural History Museum*** Natural History Museum House Sparrow design* Blackout finish* Coordinating items available In collaboration with the Natural History Museum we are introducing the beautiful House Sparrow roller blind to celebrate the life of the humble House Sparrow which according to recent monitoring has been disappearing from our cites. The collection plays on the naturally warm colours these birds are renowned for, and their welcome sight in our urban areas. This roller blind, made from recycled polyester, features a blackout finish to reduce external light and to add privacy to your room. Supplied with all fixings included and available in a variety of sizes.**Natural History Museum x Dunelm**From our familiar garden friends to more exotic species from tropical lands, birds are all around us. They live on every continent, in every type of habitat and can be as different as the hummingbird and the penguin. This collection pays homage to some of the wonderful birds that reside in the UK, some well-known species that we might overlook in our daily lives, and yet they are incredible in their own right. From the house sparrow and grey partridge to the fieldfare and turtle dove, many of these species are under threat or in decline so it is crucial that we act to protect their habitats. © The Trustees of the Natural History Museum, London 2024. Our Stylist Says

I really like this roller blind because it combines practicality with a warm, inviting tone-perfect for cosy living spaces. The dark blackout fabric ensures a good night's sleep and privacy, making it ideal for bedrooms or media rooms. The ochre colour adds a subtle warmth and character, working particularly well in interiors with earthy, natural palettes, or as a complementary feature in more muted, neutral schemes. For styling tips, consider pairing it with textured fabrics or wooden accents to enhance the cosy vibe. It's versatile enough to suit both traditional and contemporary interiors, especially those leaning towards Vintage, Rustic or Scandinavian styles.

A Legacy of Home Comfort Dunelm's Journey

Dunelm isn't just another store; it's a British legacy. Kicked off in 1979 by the dynamic duo, Bill and Jeany Adderley, what began as a simple market stall in Leicester transformed into one of the UK's most prominent home furnishings retailers.

Fast forward a bit, and their first brick-and-mortar store sprang to life in Leicester in 1984. Dunelm didn't stop there, making waves throughout the decades, innovating and expanding, launching an online shopping experience, and securing its place on the London Stock Exchange.

More than Just Products...A Personal Touch

With a whopping 177 stores across the UK, Dunelm isn't just about selling items; it's about crafting experiences. Many of their stores come with cosy Pausa cafes, offering a space to relax and refuel.

And if you've ever felt like joining a community, they've got dedicated Facebook groups for each store locality. It's not just about buying a product; it's about being part of the Dunelm family. Their online platform seamlessly complements their in-store experience, promising product availability and varied delivery options.
