Description

Our popular Whistler frame in the style of a bar stool. The seat is made from sturdy polypropylene with a well-padded, fixed fabric seat pad. Plus, thanks to the deep backrest, you no longer have to perch with bad posture at your breakfast bar, but can sit and dine in comfort. The welded metal frame provides reassuring durability and we've added plastic caps to the end of each leg to help prevent scratches or scuff marks on your floor. It's easy to assemble and ideal for busy households, as you can simply wipe each stool clean. Want to see it first? You may want to see and get a feel for the furniture in one of our shops before ordering. We'll be able to tell you where the range you'd like to view is on display. With great prices and great design, our new brand offers style and quality for modern living today. Whatever you need, there's joy to be found in ANYDAY.

Our Stylist Says

I love this Whistler bar stool for its sleek and modern silhouette, making it a versatile piece that can elevate a variety of interiors. Its clean lines and subtle colour palette work well in contemporary kitchens, minimalist dining areas, or even a stylish home bar. Practical styling tips include pairing it with a matching counter or trolley for a cohesive look, and adding textured cushions for extra comfort and visual interest. Its simplicity also allows it to complement other design elements, whether you’re going for a monochrome scheme or adding a hint of colour with accessories. Overall, it's a smart, unobtrusive choice that blends style with practicality.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
