Our Stylist Says
I love the Horizona velvet divan bed because it combines sleek modern style with practical storage. The charcoal upholstery lends itself well to contemporary or minimalist interiors, providing a sophisticated base that doesn’t overpower the space. The 54" floor-standing headboard adds height and a touch of elegance, making it an instant statement piece in a bedroom. Its built-in drawers are perfect for maximising storage without cluttering the room, especially in smaller spaces or for those who love a clutter-free look. When styling, consider pairing it with neutral or muted tones for a calming retreat, and add layered textiles like cozy throws and cushions to soften the velvet texture. It works well in urban, modern, or Scandinavian-inspired bedrooms, offering both function and understated style.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
