The Horizona Plush Velvet Divan Bed Base with 54" Floor Standing Upholstered Headboard combines luxury design with durable everyday support. The solid platform top divan base provides a stable, firm foundation for your mattress, enhancing comfort and delivering superior all round support compared to slatted frames. Expertly crafted in the UK from quality timber and upholstered in luxurious plush velvet fabric, this bed set adds refined elegance to both classic and modern interiors. The floor standing upholstered headboard features wide horizontal panel cushioning, offering a contemporary look that doubles as a comfortable backrest for sitting up in bed. The divan base measures 34.5cm in height with gliders (30.5cm without gliders) attached and is available in all standard UK sizes 2FT. 6 Small Single, 3FT Single, 4FT Small Double, 4FT. 6 Double, 5FT King, and 6FT Super King. For added practicality, choose from multiple storage drawer options including No Drawers, 2 Drawers (same side), or 4 Drawers, making this velvet divan bed with headboard both stylish and functional. Headboard is 54" / 137cm, front panel is 32" / 86cm. An excellent space saving storage bed. Drawers can be placed left or right side as the headboard fits either end of the base.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores".
