At 54 tall, this floor standing headboard creates a striking focal point, offering both visual grandeur and superior back support for reading or relaxing in bed. Expertly handcrafted in the UK, the Horizona combines durability with elegance, perfectly complementing both modern and classic interiors. Designed to pair seamlessly with all standard UK divan bases. Headboard height from the floor is 54" 137cm, the front panel of the headboard is 32" 81cm. This headboard can be fitted into your existing base with screws or simply placed behind your bed and against the wall.
Our Stylist Says
I love this headboard for its clean, modern lines and plush velvet finish that instantly elevates a small double bed. The navy colour adds a rich, sophisticated touch and works particularly well in contemporary or eclectic interiors. It pairs nicely with neutral tones for a calm, understated look, or with bold colours for a more vibrant bedroom scheme. Practical styling tips include placing it against a light or textured wallpaper to highlight its colour and texture or accessorising with complementary cushions and throws for a cosy feel. Its stand-alone design also makes it ideal for adding a statement piece in spaces where a built-in headboard isn’t possible.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
