Our Stylist Says
I love this front door mat because of its understated, natural aesthetic which easily complements a range of outdoor and entryway styles. The brown tone adds warmth and pairs well with both modern and rustic exteriors, making it versatile for different property styles. As a stylist, I’d suggest placing it in well-structured, welcoming entryways and pairing it with greenery or vintage accessories for an inviting feel. Practical tips include ensuring it’s positioned flat to prevent slips and choosing a spot where it can clear dirt effectively, helping you maintain a tidy and stylish first impression. Its neutral colour makes it a flexible foundation for layered decor, such as colourful planters or seasonal wreaths.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
