Our Stylist Says
This headboard in velvet offers a sophisticated, plush look that works beautifully in both classic and contemporary interiors. The steel grey colour is versatile and lends itself well to neutral palettes, adding a touch of understated luxury without overpowering the space. I love styling it with crisp white bedding and metallic accents for a sleek look, or layering with textured throws and cushions for a cosy atmosphere. It's perfect for bedrooms aiming for a modern yet opulent vibe, and its tufted design adds subtle visual interest without overwhelming smaller spaces. Practical tips include pairing it with minimalist bedside tables to keep the focus on the headboard’s elegant design and placing it against a simple wall to highlight its texture and colour.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
