Veranda has been handwoven from hemp, a natural material that is strong and durable making this a rug that is suitable for daily use. Veranda is also available as a runner size so you can easily place it in your hallway to create a welcoming entrance to your home. In a choice of four sizes, hall runner (66 x 200 cm), small (90 x 150 cm), medium (120 x 170 cm) and large (160 x 230 cm), you will be able to find the right size for your home. Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
