Price History

Description

On-trend velvet quilted throw from Homescapes stylish range of velvet home accessories. For ultimate softness, this throw has been woven from 100 cotton velvet to create a rich and lavish feel with a subdued and muted colour for a premium look. Unlike polyester velvet, Homescapes cotton velvet throw has a more luxurious look and is completely natural. The reverse has been woven from 100 cotton so it feels super soft on either side. To create extra warmth and cosiness, it has been quilted with polyester fibre and is finished with a folksy hand embroidered polka dot design for vintage style. In burnt orange, this on-trend throw will add a burst of colour and cosy texture to your home interiors. Available in a choice of two sizes including 125 x 150 cm and 150 x 200 cm, this throw is perfect to use in your living room or bedroom. Drape over your sofa to add texture and a cosy look to your settee, this velvet blanket is a great knee warmer. Alternatively, create a stylish look in your bedroom and place it along the end of your bed as a runner to add colour to plain bedding. Part of Homescapes range of on-trend home accessories, this velvet quilted throw is available in several colours including burnt orange, red, pink, emerald green, mustard, dark grey, light grey and slate blue. Matching velvet cushions are also available, so you can create a matching look or mix with other colours from the range. Machine washable at 40 degrees, wash with similar colours on a gentle cycle. Pack includes 1 throw.

Our Stylist Says

I love this burnt orange velvet throw for its rich colour and plush texture, making it a versatile piece for adding warmth and a splash of colour to any living space. It works particularly well in contemporary, Scandinavian, or bohemian interiors where cosy accessories are key. To style it effectively, drape it casually over a sofa or armchair to create an inviting, lived-in look, and consider pairing it with neutral tones for contrast or with other warm hues for a cohesive scheme. Practical tip: since it’s velvet, avoid placing it in direct sunlight to maintain its luxurious feel and colour vibrancy. Its size and quilted stitch make it an excellent choice for layering and creating a tactile focal point in your room.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
