Inspired by Ikat designs, the Sierra rug from Homescapes will add some monochromatic style to your home interiors. Featuring a diamond geometric inspired pattern, the Sierra rug will compliment contemporary interiors and add a touch of style to your home. In grey and white, this neutral coloured rug can be easily introduced to your interiors, and it looks great next to leather upholstered furniture. The Horizon rug is made from hemp Chindi, a natural material that is soft to the touch and strong and durable, so you can use this rug in heavy footfall areas as it is suitable for daily use. Each rug is made by hand on a traditional loom. In a choice of four sizes, hall runner (66 x 200 cm), small (90 x 150 cm), medium (120 x 170 cm) and large (160 x 230 cm), you will be able to find the right size for your home. This pattern is also available from Homescapes as a footstool. Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
