Our Stylist Says
I really like the homescapes quilted velvet chair pad - the mustard yellow shade is cheerful and versatile, making it a great statement piece or a bright complementary colour in more neutral interiors. Its 5cm thickness provides comfortable padding that can instantly elevate the look of worn or hard chairs, adding both style and function. It works well in contemporary, boho, or vintage-inspired spaces, especially when mixed with textured fabrics and warm woods. For a polished setup, layer it with other cushions in coordinating tones or contrasting textures, and remember to keep it on the centre of the chair for a tidy, inviting appearance. This pad can really transform a plain dining or desk chair into a comfortable feature in any room.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
