This rug has been handmade on traditional handlooms in India. It is manufactured with recycled leather cuts interwoven with natural hemp yarns to make this sturdy, long-lasting and beautiful rug. The proceeds from the sale of this rug directly help the weavers and their families in India. Homescapes is committed to a child labour-free and fair working and trading environment.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores".
