The Jakarta rug will make an eye catching centrepiece in any room of your house, and it is also available as a runner to brighten up your landing or entrance hall. Suitable for daily use, this rug is durable and has white fringed ends for laid back relaxed styling. Spot clean only.

Our Stylist Says

I love the Homescapes Jakarta Handwoven Kilim because of its bold geometric pattern and vibrant pinks, which can really inject personality into a neutral or contemporary space. It works particularly well in living rooms or bedrooms that aim for a modern or eclectic vibe, providing colour and texture without overwhelming the room. Practical styling tips include layering it over a neutral rug for added depth, pairing with minimalist furnishings to let the pattern stand out, or using it to bring warmth and visual interest to minimalist teak or rattan furniture. Its size makes it versatile for both small and large rooms, and its durable wool construction ensures it’ll hold up well in high-traffic areas.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
