Description

Add a dose of colour to your home textiles with the Folk Chindi rug from Homescapes. The Folk rug has a striped effect made up of multi-coloured lines for a relaxed, boho look. Perfect for your bedroom, living room, or dining room, the Folk rug will brighten up any of your home interiors. It also comes as a hall runner size so you can spruce up your upstairs landing, or place it in your hallway for a welcoming entrance. As each rug is handmade, you get a rug that is completely unique and individual to you. Inspired by kilim patterns, the Folk rug looks great against hardwood floors and furniture. Intricately woven, this rug is made by hand from Fleece Chindi on a traditional loom. The tightly woven yarn creates a thick rug that is strong and durable, suitable for daily use.

Our Stylist Says

I love this rug’s vibrant, multi-coloured design, which makes it a fantastic statement piece in a variety of interiors. It works particularly well in boho, eclectic, or casual modern spaces where colour and texture are key. The handwoven recycled chindi adds an authentic, artisanal feel, making it ideal for adding warmth and texture to living rooms or even bedroom areas. Styling tips include pairing it with neutral furniture to let the colours pop, or layering with other textiles for a cosy, layered look. Its size makes it versatile for both larger open-plan spaces or as a feature in smaller rooms, adding personality without overwhelming the space.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
