I’d recommend this slim oak-effect bookcase for any space where you need vertical storage without a chunky footprint. Its light wood finish brings warmth to Scandi, contemporary or casual interiors, and it’s ideal in a hallway, home office or living room corner. For styling, mix books with decorative objects - stack a few volumes horizontally, then top them with a small plant or candle. Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
