Our Stylist Says
This blue velvet shell accent chair is a fantastic statement piece that adds a touch of elegance and playfulness to a variety of interiors. Its scallop-shell shape and luxe velvet finish make it particularly well-suited to contemporary, eclectic, or even vintage-inspired spaces. I love pairing it with neutral tones for a pop of colour or contrasting it with metallic accessories for a glam look. Practical styling tips include keeping the surrounding decor minimal to let the chair stand out or layering with textured cushions for extra comfort and visual interest. Its bold colour and unique shape make it a versatile piece that can elevate a corner in a living room, bedroom nook, or even a stylish home office.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
