Our Stylist Says
I’m a fan of this L-shaped desk for its flexibility and clean lines. The reversible design means you can switch the long return to suit left- or right-handed layouts, and the adjustable shelf is ideal for raising a monitor to eye level. The integrated canvas storage bag and open shelving help keep cables, files and stationery in check, so you retain a streamlined feel even when you’re juggling work and hobbies. Styling-wise, it sits perfectly in a modern, Scandi-inspired or industrial setting - pair it with a slim task lamp, a minimal desk mat and a couple of potted succulents to soften the black frame. For a home-office nook, clip on a wire memo grid above the back panel, and use matching floating shelves on the adjacent wall for extra storage without eating into your floor space.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
