Our Stylist Says
I really like this shoe storage bench with cushion for its versatile, rustic look that works well in both traditional and contemporary hallways. The combination of wood and metal lends it an enduring charm, while the built-in shelves provide practical storage for shoes and accessories. It’s ideal for entryways where functionality is key but style still matters. To style it effectively, consider adding a basket or two on top for keys or mail, and sprinkle some seasonal decor around it to keep the space inviting. Its neutral, rustic tones make it easy to coordinate with other natural materials or muted colour schemes, making it a smart addition to any well-considered hallway or mudroom.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
