I’m a fan of the Hollis chair for its clean lines and softly rounded back, which make it both comfortable and visually unobtrusive. The neutral fabric and light oak frame sit well in Scandi-inspired, coastal or modern farmhouse schemes, and they’ll also ground a more colourful or industrial dining space. To style, position them around a simple oak or marble-topped table and introduce texture with a woven runner or a couple of muted cushions. Mix in one or two darker or patterned chairs for contrast, or keep the look monochrome and add interest with slimline tableware and a low centrepiece.
