Description

Enhance your decor with our Holey Ceramic Vase in Black, a sleek and contemporary piece that combines modern design with artistic flair. The hollow circle design creates a sculptural appearance that is ideal for monochrome or scandi interiors, making it a standout focal point. Its medium size allows for versatile styling options, whether you choose to showcase it as a standalone decorative object or to pair it with pampas grass or decorative branches.

Our Stylist Says

I really like this black ceramic vase for its bold, sculptural shape and versatile finish. It works particularly well in modern or minimalist interiors, adding a striking focal point without overpowering the space. The circular hole detail makes it an ideal piece to display a single long-stemmed flower or greenery, creating a simple yet impactful centrepiece. For styling tips, consider pairing it with matte or metallic accents and placing it on a neutral surface to let its shape stand out. It’s equally effective on shelves, sideboards, or as a standalone piece on a mantel to bring a contemporary edge to your decor.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
