Description

Delve into the detail of the Holda Rug and you will find that the Soumak weaving technique, first introduced by Turkish tribeswomen in the 7th century, creates even more pattern than first apparent to the eye. The coloured yarns lie at different angles, creating a herringbone effect within the handmade flat-woven brocade. The rug has been hand-dyed for its bold and variegated pattern which gives it a slight antique look. It boasts a colourful, symmetrical pattern of bold geometric shapes in a cross design.

Our Stylist Says

The Holda Rug in Rust is a fantastic addition that adds warmth and a pop of colour to various interiors. Its earthy tones make it versatile, working especially well in boho, rustic, or eclectic spaces, but it can also serve as a lively centrepiece in modern minimal settings. I love how its geometric pattern brings visual interest without overwhelming the room. Practical styling tips include layering it over neutral carpets or hardwood floors to maximise its colour impact, and pairing it with natural fibres and textured fabrics to enhance its tactile appeal. This rug is a smart choice for adding personality and cosy comfort to living rooms, bedrooms, or even dining areas.
