Description

Minimal design and modern styling, our Hol Opal Glass Sphere Pendant is a beautiful choice for your home. This stunning geometrical pendant looks wonderful in any room, with its satin brass colouring and shade giving off a muted appearance. This ceiling light is perfect for any living room, bathroom or dining room.

Our Stylist Says

I love the hol opal glass sphere pendant for its clean, minimalist look and the way it seamlessly blends modern elegance with a touch of softness thanks to the satin brass finish. This light works particularly well in contemporary or Scandi-inspired interiors, adding a subtle statement without overwhelming the space. Practical styling tips include hanging a cluster at different heights for a striking visual effect over a dining table or kitchen island, or using a single pendant in a bedroom for gentle, diffuse illumination. Its smooth satin brass detail offers flexibility to pair with other metallic accessories, making it versatile across various colour schemes and styles.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
