Our Stylist Says
This framed print of the wave is a classic piece that works beautifully in both contemporary and traditional interiors. I love it for its bold, dynamic composition and the way it brings a sense of movement and energy to a space. It’s versatile enough to be a focal point in a living room or a striking addition to a more minimal, Scandinavian-inspired scheme. For styling tips, consider pairing it with neutral walls and simple furnishings to let the artwork really stand out, or team it with other Japanese-inspired elements for a cohesive look. It also works well in a gallery wall arrangement with smaller prints for a curated, artsy feel. Overall, it’s an eye-catching piece that adds cultural richness and visual interest to any room.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
