Designed by Ludovica & Roberto Palomba, the Hoba pendant features a captivating organic form. The irregular, asymmetrical lines feature hollows and bulges, offering a changing appearance depending on the angle of view. Hoba is inspired by the meteorite it's named after, the largest ever to fall to Earth, discovered in Namibia in 1920.
I love this pendant for its clean, modern aesthetic that works well in many interiors, from minimalist to contemporary schemes. The organic shape of the glass gives it a touch of softness, making it a subtle statement piece without overpowering the room. It works particularly well in kitchen eating areas, bedrooms, or even a cosy living space, where its diffused light creates a warm, inviting atmosphere. For styling, consider grouping a few at different heights or pairing it with sleek, neutral furnishings to let the pendant shine. Its understated elegance and versatile size (Ø 19 cm) make it a practical choice for both small and larger ceilings, adding a sculptural element that’s both functional and visually appealing.
